130393, 20 Janvier 2014

Weather in Madagascar, 16 January 2014.

It seems that Madagascar and 130393 are experiencing some heavy weather...

Weather map of Madagascar 16 January 2014.

130393: 6-16 2014

130393 continued moving southward.  By 16 January it was located 2 km west of the village of Andabotoka.  There appear to be at least two towns with this name in Madagascar.  The one to which we refer is the more southerly, about 60 km south of the coastal town of Morombe.  The baobab forests of Madagascar are in this area.  See below.

130393, 4 January 2014

As Mansoor has said in the previous post, 130393 hopped across the Mozambique Channel sometime between the 28th and 30th of December 2013.  Our first estimates of his location were near the village of Betispolitira, about 30 km east of the town of Masoarivo.  By 4 January, 130393 had moved a bit south and was near the village of Ambalakazaha.
